The Man with Dynamite in his Mouth

lyrics

I opend my eyes and expected to see butterflies. Then I realized it takes more than one sacrifice to keep the golden years from withering. Suffering is part of the deal two motors smashed to smithereens. Love molesters no antidote for the mistrust that was cultured. What’s left is a brain dead brainiac slubbering in public. Crushed by strong regrets. Watching the familiar silhouette fading in the distance. It was then when the sirens began to sing their songs that part worlds and souls for years to come. So I sucked this ocean dry. And let the agony prolong. Neptune in my stomach threw his trident. I was silent as he claimed his pathetic pantheon. I will never forget your face will you be there when I awake. Narcotic visions and dreams of fate. Our seventh heaven fell in an earthquake. I felt my shoulder break under the weight that piled up over these years of escape. Too late have I learned that the sound of silence between us has left our Rome burned and stained. I wanted to lay you down in beds of roses corrosive thorns dug deep into your frail chest. Steadfast love got beaten by reality. Decisions once seemed right lead straight into calamity and then there ‘s nothing left but sorrow and the question of when the wrong turn was taken. Hollow promises and infantile tokens. Naivity got punished as the spirit got broken. Choking on the truth of heart broken dreams being terminated. Distance was the hypocrite while we were alienated. Monitors signal flatline. CPR is useless on this embittered valentine. Afraid of the future I gotta close my eyes. Rather live in the past I rather suffer and cry. I better live in the moment I better struggle and cry. I better get up my ass and start to learn how to smile.
